Sajith Premadasa, the presidential candidate of Samagi Jana Balawegaya, has pledged that those responsible for the Easter Sunday attack, including the masterminds, will face the maximum legal punishment. Speaking at a public rally in Puttalam yesterday (10), Premadasa accused Gotabaya Rajapaksa and Ranil Wickremesinghe of concealing the truth, despite claims of seeking justice.

He emphasized that his party has no hidden deals, asserting that he is committed to revealing the full truth about the attack. Premadasa criticized the current president's economic policies, claiming they burden the people while protecting the interests of the wealthy. He also accused the president of aligning with Anura Kumara Dissanayake for political gain, warning the public not to be deceived by false promises again.
