A man's body was discovered in a well near the Elpitiya Public Stadium yesterday afternoon (08). The deceased, a 23-year-old resident of Mattaka, Vaihena, had reportedly attended a music concert at the stadium the previous day (07).
The body has been sent to the Elpitiya Hospital mortuary for a post-mortem examination following the Magistrate’s review. Elpitiya Police are continuing their investigation into the incident.
