A suspect was arrested today during a special operation conducted by the Police Special Task Force (STF) in the Embilipitiya area, where a cache of weapons was recovered, including an AK-47 type firearm and a pistol along with ammunition.
The operation was carried out based on information received from the Police Special Bureau. Authorities reported that the suspect was found in possession of an AK-47 assault rifle with one magazine and bullets, a 9mm pistol with one magazine and bullets, as well as two swords and a dagger during the operation.
