The Election Commission has released the postal vote results for the Galle District in the 2024 General Election, with National People’s Power (NPP) securing the highest number of votes. NPP received 32,296 postal votes, representing 79.08% of the district’s total postal votes. In the 2024 Presidential Election, NPP leader Anura Kumara Dissanayake also led the Galle District postal votes, with 25,892 votes (64.5%).

Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB): 3,523 votes (8.63%)
New Democratic Front (NDF): 1,964 votes
Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP): 1,846 votes
