NPP leads in Kalutara District postal votes with nearly 80%

The National People’s Power (NPP) has secured the highest number of postal votes in Kalutara District in the 2024 General Election, according to the Election Commission's release.

National People’s Power (NPP) – 29,076 (78.99%)
Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) - 3,349 (9.07%)
New Democratic Front (NDF) – 1,913
Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP) – 1,160
Sarvajana Balaya (SRJB) - 613

The NPP’s dominant lead in the postal votes points to substantial support in Kalutara as election results continue to be announced.
