A total of 9,500 metric tons of rice have been imported into the country to date, according to Customs Media Spokesperson and Additional Director General of Customs, Seevali Arukgoda.
The imports include 3,300 metric tons of Kekulu rice and 6,200 metric tons of Nadu rice.
