England, opting to bat after losing the toss, struggled to 132 all out, with Jos Buttler's 68 off 44 balls providing the only substantial resistance. India's bowlers, led by Arshdeep Singh (2 for 17) and Varun Chakravarthy (3 for 23), dismantled the visitors. Arshdeep’s early strikes and Varun’s middle-overs brilliance left England reeling.

Abhishek, supported by Sanju Samson’s 26, ensured the chase was a formality despite a brief scare from Jofra Archer (2 for 21).
