Hiru Media Network once again reaffirmed its leadership in Sri Lankan media by securing multiple accolades at the Asia Miracle Awards 2025, held in Colombo today (23).


This event honours local and international entrepreneurs, businesses, electronic media, print media, artists, and innovators based on public surveys.


Hiru Media Network was a major recipient of awards, reaffirming its strong audience appeal.


Hiru News was honoured with the Award for the Most Popular News Channel of the Year, while Hiru TV was named the Most Popular Television Channel of the Year.


Further solidifying its popularity, “Hiru Star” won the award for the Most Popular Reality Program of the Year, and "Pathtare Witthare" was recognised as the Most Popular Television Morning Program of the Year.


Chamuditha Samarawickrama received the award for Most Popular TV Presenter of the Year, and the teledrama "Paata Kurullo" was named the Most Popular Teledrama of the Year.


In the radio sector, Hiru FM won the award for Most Popular Radio Station of the Year, and sister channel Sooriyan FM was awarded the Most Popular Tamil Radio Station of the Year.


Digital platforms also saw recognition, with the HiruNews.lk website winning Most Popular News Website of the Year, the Hiru News Facebook Page taking the Most Popular Social Media News Page of the Year award, and the Hiru TV TikTok page being named Most Popular TikTok Page of the Year.
