Hiru Media Network once again secured multiple accolades at the Saranganavee Gold Awards 2025, held yesterday afternoon (11) at the BMICH in Colombo.

This marked the fourth edition of the awards ceremony.

In the Most Popular Awards category, Hiru TV's 'Paata Kurullo' won the award for Most Popular Teledrama.

For her performance in the same teledrama, Piyumali Edirisinghe was awarded Most Popular Teledrama Actress.

Furthermore, Hiru Media Network received several awards under the Appreciation Awards category.

These included Hiru News, Hiru TV's 'Shraddhabhivandana', Hiru TV's 'Mangalam' programme, Hiru TV's 'House Full' programme, and Chamuditha Samarawickrama receiving the Appreciation Award for a Television Broadcaster.

'Paata Kurullo', which airs five days a week on Hiru TV at 8 PM, also received Appreciation Awards for its production team.

Jayaprakash Sivagurunathan was recognised for direction, Chamara Samarawickrama for teledrama production, and Buddhika Semasinghe for teledrama scriptwriting, all for their contributions to 'Paata Kurullo'.
