THREE+DEAD+IN+SEPERATE+TARFFIC+INCIDENTS
Three people have died following a series of separate road accidents in different parts of Sri Lanka, police have confirmed.

In one incident near the Dutugemunu Junction in Peliyagoda, a woman was killed while using a pedestrian crossing. Police said she had been struck by a car.

Elsewhere, in Chenkaladi, a van veered off the road and collided with a tree, resulting in the death of a woman. Nine others were injured in the crash, including five men and four women, according to police reports.

Meanwhile, in another fatal accident reported along the Dompe area on the Gampaha–Minuwangoda road, a motorcyclist lost his life.

Police investigations into all three incidents are currently underway.
