Heavy rainfall has caused traffic congestion on several roads in Colombo, police say.
Meanwhile, the National Building Research Organisation has issued early landslide warnings for 11 districts amid continuing adverse weather conditions.
The warnings cover the districts of Badulla, Kalutara, Colombo, Galle, Kandy, Kegalle, Kurunegala, Matale, Matara, Nuwara Eliya and Ratnapura.
