The 16-acre land and house in Malwana, which reportedly lacks an owner, should be immediately seized for higher education and public use to resolve the limited space within the university system.

Members of the Inter-University Students Federation staged a protest today regarding this demand.

Student activists, speaking near the premises this afternoon, emphasised that the current government must fulfil its election promise to nationalise property stolen from the public.

They pointed out that authorities failed to provide a positive response despite being informed of the space shortages faced by university students for a long period.

The Inter University Students Federation organised this protest as a decisive step following weeks of poster campaigns and discussions regarding the issue.
