The National Transport Commission previously announced these adjustments to reflect the new fare structure.
For standard services, the minimum fare rises from 30 to 34 rupees, while the maximum fare climbs by 480 rupees, reaching 2,902 rupees from the previous 2,422.
Several intermediate standard fares will also shift: a 39-rupee fare becomes 44, 50 rupees fare increased to 56, 62 rupees becomes 69, 74 rupees becomes 82, 85 rupees becomes 95, and 97 rupees becomes 108.
Semi-luxury service fares now feature a minimum of 51 rupees, while the maximum fare for this category jumps from 3,330 to 4,353 rupees.
Luxury services see their minimum fare move from 60 to 66 rupees, with the maximum rate rising from 4,405 to 5,571 rupees.
Inter-provincial routes also reflect these changes.
The new fare from Colombo to Kandy stands at 521 rupees, the Colombo to Matara standard fare reaches 681 rupees, and the Colombo to Galle standard fare increases to 496 rupees.
