The Financial and Commercial Crime Investigation Division has informed Colombo Chief Magistrate Asanga S. Bodaragama that an investigation has been launched into the operation of an alleged illegal prohibited pyramid scheme under the name Infinity Rover.
Investigating officers told the court that the probe was initiated following a complaint lodged by the Consumer Affairs Department of the Central Bank of Sri Lanka.
Presenting further facts before the court, the Criminal Investigation Department stated that Infinity Rover is allegedly operating as an illegal pyramid scheme that has been prohibited by the Central Bank.
