Inmate transferred after Negombo clash dies at hospital

An inmate who was transferred to the Boossa prison following the unrest at the Negombo prison died.

The individual passed away after being admitted to the Galle National Hospital due to a sudden medical condition.

The hospital police stated that he died after admission to the hospital.
