The Opposition parliamentary group today (10) presented a no-confidence motion against Justice Minister Harshana Nanayakkara for failing to fulfill his responsibility and accountability regarding the safety of prison officers and inmates who lost their lives due to the unrest inside the Negombo prison.

Accordingly, Opposition Parliamentarians, including Opposition Leader Sajith Premadasa, signed the no-confidence motion in Parliament today.
