Concurrently, this public pledge-taking was also conducted in ships and establishments belonging to all naval commands of the Navy.
Promoting civic ethics, moral values, and good governance concepts further, establishing a culture of integrity across society and building a ‘Clean Sri Lanka’ is the primary objective of this national operation.
Accordingly, practically implementing the ideals of unity, inner strength, accountability, trust, correct vision, thriftiness, transparency, equality, consensus, and humility, Navy members and civil staff pledged to provide maximum Navy resources, professional knowledge, and craft skills to make state policies and national goals successful.
A group including Chief of Staff of the Navy Rear Admiral Ravindra Tissera, senior and junior officers, senior and junior sailors, and civil servants participated in this pledge-taking event for an ‘Integrity Culture – Clean Sri Lanka’ held at the Navy Headquarters.
