The final rites of late veteran singer Visharada Dr. Nanda Malini are scheduled to be held on Saturday (22) evening at the Borella General Cemetery, Professor Sunil Ariyaratne states.

Accordingly, all arrangements have been made to place her body at her residence on Vijayaba Mawatha, Nawala, from 10.00 am tomorrow (21) for public respect.

Thereafter, following religious rites at 3.30 pm on Saturday, the body is scheduled to be taken to the Borella Cemetery for the final rites.

Professor Sunil Ariyaratne further stated that, respecting her last wish, family relatives decided to perform the final rites at 5.00 pm on Saturday at the Borella Cemetery without any official or special funeral ceremony.
