The Ceylon Workers' Congress says that it will not be shaken by whatever alliances are set up for fighting for estate workers.

CWC Vice Chairman Deputy Minister Muttu Sivalingam said that the CWC always stood for estate workers.

A new Alliance was set up in Colombo yesterday on behalf of the estate workers' rights.

That was with the participation of political party representatives and 16 estate worker unions.

Expressing his views on this occasion National Workers' Union leader P. Digambaran said that a massive programme would be implanted in the future for winning the workers' rights.
