Rawana Balaya organization highlights safety concerns of Sri Lankans students in Tamil Nadu

The Rawana Balaya Organisation states that issues of grave concern have cropped up with regards to the safety of Sri Lankan university students receiving education in India.

Convener of the organization Venerable Iththa-kande Sadhathissa Thero addressing a media briefing held in Colombo today noted that Sri Lankan university students were faced with the threat of assault while in India.

The Rawana balaya Organisation also charges that a group of Tamil National Alliance MP’s has violated the countries constitution as well as its sovereignty by taking part in the recent sessions of the United Nations Human Rights Council.

Convener of the organization Venerable Iththa-kande Sadhathissa Thero posing a question at the speaker inquired as to what course of action would be taken in this regard.
