The police department says that a special traffic plan will be implemented in the Colombo city in view of the victory parade scheduled to be held tomorrow.

Accordingly tomorrow from five in the morning till the victory parade and function ends roads for entry to Colombo will be closed temporarily.

The entries   that will be thus withheld are: entry in the direction of  Fort CTO junction from Ceynor Junction; entry in the direction of Fort  from CTO junction; entry to the Chaityaya road from the vicinity of the Harbour entrance;

entry in the direction the Galle Face Roundabout from the Colpetty Junction.

Similarly the police headquarters said that the  entry in the direction of Galle Road from St. Michael’s Roundabout, entry in the direction of the Regal Roundabout from the Slave Island Police Roundabout, and the entry to the D. R. Wijewardhana Mawatha from the Gamini roundabout  would be temporarily withheld.

The police department request the public to use alternative roads instead of the roads closed.
