The Sinhalese living in the United Kingdom expressed their displeasure over the British Labor Party Leader Ed Miliband’s Sinhala and Tamil New Year greetings as it has addressed only to Tamils.

Miliband would be the Labor Party Prime Ministerial candidate in the British General Election to be held on May 7th.

Addressing only Tamils in Sri Lanka, Miliband reiterated in his New Year message that he would further work to obtain an international investigation on the alleged war crimes in Sri Lanka.

Reports reaching from London stated that Sinhalese living in Britain are planning to hand over a petition to Miliband against his statement.
