Rs. 125mn bribery case: notices issued to customs officials

Notices were issued to 4 Customs officials who are accused of accepting a bribe of Rs. 125 million from a businessman, who imports vehicle spare parts.
The notices were issued by Colombo High Court Judge, R. Gurusinghe today (07).
The Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption has filed this case against the four Customs officials.
The case will be taken up again on 15th of this month and charge sheets will be served on the suspects on that day.
