Sri Lankan fishing vessel meets with accident off Myanmar

A Sri Lankan fishing vessel with six fishermen onboard had met with an accident off the seas of Myanmar due to a mechanical fault.
The owner of the vessel said that the vessel encountered the mechanical glitch six days ago and it would be difficult to bring back it to Sri Lanka without the help of the authorities.
The vessel, 'Jaya Isuru 3' had left from the Nilwella fisheries harbour in Matara on 7th of this month.
He said the vessel became completely dysfunctional from Tuesday.
