The death toll in the explosions which took place at 6 places in the island has risen to 141.

45 bodies of victims have been placed at the Colombo National Hospital and another 62 bodies are at the Negombo Hospital.

27 bodies are at the Batticialo hospital and 7 bodies have been placed at the Ragama Hospital.

9 foreigners among those who died subsequent to being admitted to the Colombo National Hospital.

More than 250 injured are receiving treatment at the Colombo National Hospital.

Chief Magistrate of Colombo Lanka Jayaratne inspected today the Kochchikade Church in Kotahena where one explosion took place.

Subsequently, the Magistrate ordered the Colombo Chief Judicial Medical Officer to carry out the post-mortem examinations and refer the reports to the Court.  

Our Correspondent said that an inspection of the location at the Shangri-La Hotel where another explosion took place is being inspected by the Colombo Additional Magistrate Priyantha Liyanage.

A statement from the Colombo Archbishop House stated that all Easter Church Services to be held this evening has been cancelled.
