Two youth aged 17 and 20 have died from an accident happened around 11.30 pm near Shramadana road, Moratuwa.
The victims were at a funeral house when a van skidded off the road and hit them.
Reports say that the driver has fallen asleep while heading to Panadura from Colombo.
The victims who were seriously injured, died after been admitted to Panadura Hospital.
The van driver is arrested by Panadura police.
Post mortem examination of the youth is scheduled to be held today while the driver of the van is brought before the Magistrate of Panadura Magistrate Court.
