A person has hanged himself to death after murdering his wife in a land belongs to his father around 8.30 pm last night.
The demised resided at Mandalana area in Pallama were father and mother to three children.
The woman who was working at a farm in Bangadeniya has been attacked by a sharp weapon by her husband who has come to Sri Lanka from abroad recently.
The reason for the couple to visit the location of the murder has not been identified yet.
Pallama police are conducting further investigations into the incident.
