Former DIG of the Terrorism Investigation Division - Nalaka de Silva - is scheduled to appear before CID today as well in connection with assassination conspiracy charges.
While querying him for close to 9 hours yesterday, he has been summoned to the CID again today after yesterday’s questioning.
The former DIG appeared before the CID for the first time.
While Nalaka de Silva had been summoned to appear before the CID last Tuesday, he did not do visit the CID on that day stating that his child had been ill.
The former DIG is being queried in connection with the alleged conspiracy for the assassination of President Maithripala Sirisena and former defence secretary Gotabhaya Rajapaksa.
