A man, who hacked his wife to death, has committed suicide by consuming poison at Ihalawitiyala in Kamburupitiya, Matara today.
According to a spokesman of the Kamburupitiya Police, the incident took place this afternoon.
He further noted that the cause of the murder has not yet been determined yet.
The victim is a 54 year old woman, and her husband is 59 years old.
