Minister of Petroleum Resources Development, Arjuna Ranathunga has filed a defamation case in Colombo District Court against two persons who behaved like leaders of Trade Union of Sri Lanka Ports Authority, claiming 500 Million Rupees from each person.
Defamation cases filed against Prasanna Kalutharage and Lal Bangamuwa carry the numbers 1700/DMR/2017, 1701/DMR/2017 and 1702/DMR/2017.
Minister Arjuna Ranathunga claims 500 Million Rupees from each as compensation for defaming his reputation and misleading public by giving false statement.
