Opposition Leader, Leader of the TNA R. Sampanthan has requested the UN Special Representative Pablo De Grief to ensure that the Government would fulfill the promises made to the people of Sri Lanka and the International Community.

The TNA issuing a communiqué said that 3 main areas were discussed during a meeting between them.

Opposition Leader R. Sampanthan had presented details with regard to land issues in the North, details of missing persons and LTTE detainees.
