Ministry of Finance says that government will launch a special credit scheme in March to help young entrepreneurs under a 2018 Budget proposal.
 
Under this scheme, Rs. 60 billion will be allocated to be extended to young entrepreneurs under 15 projects.
 
The youths will be given financial assistance to start enterprises in any field including agriculture and fisheries.
 
Under this programme, the youths will be able to obtain 75% of the total cost of a start-up as a concessionary loan through private and public banks.
 
The interest will be paid by the government and Rs. 5 billion has been allocated by the Treasury for that purpose.
