Minister of Trade and Commerce, Risath Bathiudeen says if Cabinet gives the green light, approval will be granted to increase the price of domestic gas.

Addressing a media conference in Colombo today (Feb. 20) the Minister said he has received requests submitted by local gas companies seeking a price hike.

The Minister emphasized that so far no decision has been taken to approve a price revision.
