UPFA Gampaha district Parliamentarian Prasanna Ranaweera has been granted bail by Mahara Magistrate's Court this morning (Mar. 22).
He was in remand custody over an assault incident.
Ranaweera is accused of assaulting a SLFP candidate who contested the Local Government election.
