"Lokka" arrested over Maradana shooting

The underworld figure, Ravindra Sanjeewa alias "Lokka" who was accused of causing injuries to three youths during a shooting in Maradana last year, has been arrested by the Colombo Crimes Division.

The 29-year-old suspect is a resident of Colombo 12 and he was arrested yesterday in Dematagoda.

The shooting incident took place on 29th of August in 2017.

Police found a revolver, five 9mm pistol bullets and 20g of Kerala cannabis in his possession.
