Train services between Saailyapura and Parasangas weva have been restricted after a train playing from Jaffna to Beliatta derailed between the two railway stations this afternoon.
However, the Railway Control Room stated that train services in the Northern Line, from Jaffna to Parasangas weva and Saaliypura to Beliatta remain unaffected by this temporary disruption.
Efforts are currently underway to rerail the train that has been derailed.
