Gotabhaya Rajapaksa emrged victorious in Badulla – Wiyaluwa recording 24,401 votes with a percentage of 56.66 while Sajith Premadasa received 16,227 votes with a percentage of 37.68.
Gotabhaya Rajapaksa won the Kamburupitiya polling division in Matara by obtaining 48,140 while Sajith Premadasa only obtained 15,517.
Trincomalee – Seruwila was won by Gotabhaya Rajapaksa after obtaining 31,303 while Sajith Premadasa obtained 28.205.
AKmeemana, Balapitiya and Rathgama in Galle, as well as Akuressa in Matara were also won by Gotabhaya Rajapaksa.
Muthur in Trincomalee was won by Sajith Premadasa.
