National Development Bank PLC achieved a remarkable milestone by securing the 12th position in the Business Today Top 40 ranking for the financial year 2021/2022. This prestigious recognition was announced on April 20th of April, 2023, during an awards ceremony. This achievement is all the more impressive considering that NDB only ranked 21st in the 2020/2021 Awards, highlighting the significant progress the bank has made in just a year.

The Business Today Top 40 Corporate Ranking is an eagerly awaited annual index that acknowledges the country's leading corporate performers who have exhibited remarkable financial performance during the year in review. The financial year 2021/22 posed significant challenges for corporations, given the steep socio-political and economic hurdles coupled with the persistent effects of the COVID-19 pandemic. The participating Corporates underwent a rigorous evaluation of their growth and profitability while demonstrating unwavering resilience, passion, and dedication amidst the many adversities of the year.
