A person was killed in a shooting by two unknown persons who came on a motorcycle in Suchi village area in Hambanthota.

A 38-year-old resident of Hambantota ,Siribopura area was killed

The shooting took place at around 9 pm yesterday, and the cause of the incident has not yet been revealed.

Investigations are underway to find the two suspects who fled after shooting.

Meanwhile, five shooting incidents have been reported across the island in the past week.
