A motorcyclist lost his life in a collision with a CTB bus traveling from Anuradhapura to Kandy. According to reports from Naula Police. The incident occurred yesterday (12th) around 7:30 pm when the CTB bus was en route from Anuradhapura to Kandy, and the motorcycle was traveling towards the A-9 main road.
Eyewitnesses recounted that the collision between the motorcycle and the bus, resulted in serious injuries to the motorcyclist. Despite being rushed to Matale Hospital for medical attention, the victim, identified as D M Thilakarathne Banda, a father of two residing in Naula's Kanumulaya area, succumbed to his injuries at the scene of the accident.
