Father Cyril Gamini, the media spokesman of the Roman Catholic Metropolitan Archdiocese Of Colombo, has departed from the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) premises after providing a statement for nearly 4 hours.
He visited the CID today (19) in response to their request to provide a statement regarding the Easter Sunday terror attack.
After the interrogation, Father Cyril mentioned submitting extensive information and sources related to the Easter attack to the CID.
With the upcoming 5th anniversary of the Easter attack next Sunday, Father Cyril has organized a march and extended an invitation to the public to join.
Father Cyril Gamini Fernando, also the Editor of the official Catholic Sinhala weekly 'Gnanartha Pradeepaya', responded to the CID summons issued to him on Wednesday (17) regarding the 2019 Easter Sunday terror attacks.
