Indigenous community requests marriage fee concession

Indigenous community leader Uruwarige Wannila Aththo states that the Indigenous community is facing several issues subsequent to the increase in marriage fees to 5000 rupees.

He further stated that the indigenous youth, who's earnings are derived from hunting and farming cannot afford this fee which has been in effect since the 1st of January this year.

Uruwarige Wannila Aththo further stated that the indigenous community will require a concession from the government.
