The case in which Saman Jayalath has been indicted by the Attorney General (AG) for committing the murder of Seya Sadewmi of Kotadeniyawa was called to hear on a daily basis from 25th January (yesterday) before Negombo Provincial High Court Judge Champa Janaki Rajaratne.
Thirty witnesses including the deceased’s parents, grandfather and former Chief Magistrate D.A.Ruwanpathirana and the main suspect of the murder Saman Jayalath appeared in Court yesterday upon the order of the High Court Judge to deliver summons on the case.
Saman Jayalath was escorted to the High Court from Negombo Prison and the AG announced the criminal the offenses he was prosecuted for.

DNA samples of the main suspect have matched with the alien DNAs found from the dead body.
