Seven+nabbed+with+dried+turtle+and+dolphin+meat

Seven people were arrested attempting to transport dried turtle and dolphin meat in Trincomalee last night.

Around 120 died meat were found in their van, police say.

The suspects are residents of Chilaw and Negombo areas.

They will be produced before Magistrate’s Court in Trincomalee.

Hunting and killing of turtles and dolphins are prohibited in Sri Lanka.
