Northern+Fishermen+Protest+Today

Northern fishermen unions protested in front of Northern Provincial Council this morning.

Their protest was against the government’s decision to let Indian fishermen to enter Northern sea in their massive trawler boats.

Fishermen from Mannar, Vavniya, Killinochchi, Mullatiuv and Jaffna districts claimed that the government should take immediate measures to change their decision and stop Indians entering Sri Lankan waters.
