The regulator of the medical education in Britain, General Medical Council has added Malabe Private Medical College, SAITM to their list of medical qualifications that are not accepted in Britain.

The list included a number of medical colleges from around the world. India’s Ranchi University - Mahatma Gandhi Memorial Medical College is also in it.

The GMC said in its website that they do not accept applications to sit the PLAB test or for registration from graduates of the listed medical schools.

The PLAB test is the main route by which International Medical Graduates demonstrate that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to practice medicine in the UK.
