IGP to visit Scotland to discuss police reform

The IGP Pujith Jayasundera is scheduled to visit Scotland next week, to have discussions regarding how to carry out reforms and, strengthen sri lankas community police units.

The secretary of the ministry of Law and Order ministry, Padmasiri Jayamanne along with several other officials will also join the IGP for discussions to take place on September 30th.

Meanwhile, the committee appointed by subject minister, Ranjith Maddumabandara, to investigate the complaints made against the IGP will begin probing bribery allegations and other media reports published against the IGP next week.
