A motorcycle traveling on the Galle-Matara main road caught fire and was completely destroyed near a traffic light in Galle city this evening (29).
According to reports, two individuals were riding the motorcycle when it stopped at the pedestrian crossing traffic lights, and the fire erupted.
The Galle Municipal Council fire brigade promptly responded to the incident and extinguished the flames. Fortunately, no injuries were reported.
