IGP Pujith Jayasundera says that the already suspended Police Media Unit will be re-launched in the near future, with a brand new facelift.
The IGP paid homage to the Sacred Temple of the Tooth this morning for the first time after assuming his duties in the new post.
Later he paid courtesy calls on the chief prelates of the Malwathu and the Asgiri Chapters and received blessings of the Maha Sangha.
