A discussion was held between the President and Party Leaders' representing the government.
Ministers Wimal Weerawansa, Udaya Gammanpila, Vasudeva Nanayakkara, MPs Wijedasa Rajapaksa, Weerasumana Weerasinghe, Asanka Navaratne and Tiran Alles was also present at the discussion held at the Presidential Secretariat yesterday.
The clause in the 20th Amendment to the Constitution regarding dual citizenship was discussed at the meeting.
Leader of the Sri Lanka Mahajana Party MP Asanka Navaratne stated that the President had promised to resolve the issue within the day.
